I recently posted this list on my social media and wanted to share it on here as well. I usually do a combination of these when I’m feeling a bit down or just having ‘one of those days’ — they actually work!

  1. Drink some hot tea.
  2. Call up a friend or family member.
  3. Create something.
  4. Take a walk.
  5. Light a candle.
  6. Look at the big picture.
  7. Watch a funny movie and laugh out loud.
  8. Buy some fresh flowers.
  9. Listen to happy music.
  10. Read a book.
  11. Smile at yourself in the mirror.
  12. Take a nap.
  13. Put on an outfit you love.
  14. Treat yourself to something nice.
  15. Write down your feelings.
