No matter how positive our attitude about life might be, we all have down days where we need a little reminder to keep us from going too far under. I’ve been having a few of those days lately so I gathered some reminders to help refresh my outlook. I figure you might need one or two as well, so here are 6 simple reminders about life:

1. Some people will never change.

2. You will be extremely grateful that some things didn’t work out the way you once wanted them to.

3. You are growing. You are not the same person you were a year ago.

4. It is useless to stress yourself about things you cannot change. Move on.

5. You have overcome challenges before. You have picked yourself up, dusted yourself off, and started again.

6. There is always, always, always something to be grateful for.

  1. Wow. So true. Simple yet mighty profound. Indeed everyone has off days. Our resoluteness and (inner) strength are tested during those off days. How good we are in withstanding those testing periods decide our growth – both materially and spiritually. Thanks for sharing such wonderful thoughts.

  2. Love these reminders, especially no.3, I wrote a post about the amazing change in me from this time last year. I could not have imagined then where I am now!
    Thanks for sharing x

It is amazing how time changes a lot, provided that we put in some effort to grow the way we want to.
Thank you so much for reading and sharing such valuable thoughts.

  4. Nice post!
    For me number four relates!

On a side note, I like how real you are. All humans have some days, or parts of the day where they don’t feel great.
For me of late, I’ve been working on listening to my body, i’m terrible when it comes to that!

    1. Thanks Mo.
We definitely need to listen to our bodies; sometimes the mind play games and tries to trick us into doing something else. Hope it’s been going well for you.
PS.. I apologise for my very late response to your comment.
