Wow, it’s been a month since my last post! I really missed my wonderful readers. To those who took their time to touch base to find out why I haven’t been posting, I sincerely apologise for going MIA without notice. I decided to take an extra-long time-off at the beginning of the year to get back in balance and start the year off in a fresh, positive way. I will be writing about some of the things I’ve done with respect to that in my upcoming posts.

So it’s a new year! Is it too late to wish everyone a Happy New Year? Granted we’re still in January—Happy New Year!!! I don’t believe in resolutions too much, but isn’t it a great time to conquer new possibilities?

This year started off quite exciting for me—I officially became an aunt for the first time and my bestie got engaged to be married. With the joys of the new baby and wedding bells jingling, it’s quite a thrill around here lately.

How’s your new year so far? Do you have any major plans/goals for this year?

  1. Yeayy! Welcome back to blogging 🙂 My biggest new year resolution this year is to stick to the resolutions/plans I made, and boy, some of them I’ve been carrying forward from the last two three years! This year hopefully, I stick to them!

  2. Happy New Year!! Welcome back!! I’ve missed reading your posts every week. Sounds like 2018 is off to a pretty great start for you! Congratulations on becoming an aunt! 😀 The past month or so has been a stressful mess for me, but, as they always do, things are starting to get worked out. I used to make New Year’s resolutions every year, but it just seemed to always lead to disappointment. This year, my only “resolution”, if you wanna call it that, is to just be happy. If I’m happy with life, then everything else will take care of itself. 🙂

  3. God’s Richest Blessings unto you and yours for 2018! May we all realize our goals for 2018 and beyond.
Like you Candice, i’m not much of a New Year’s Resolution person myself as they tend to be short lived, lol. Instead I like to set goals and categorize them (long, medium, short) define a clear plan and go after them. I use the beginning of the year (and other points throughout) more as measuring tool, to analyze progress and adjust my plan as needed and some good ole introspection, to remind my self of what i’m after as well as to keep my focus precise and alive.

Keep up on keeping on everyone

    1. Thank you so much Peter. All the best to you and yours as well. I wish you a blessed year.

You couldn’t have said it any better with regards to setting goals, planning and achieving them. I agree with your strategy 100%. It has worked well for me in the past and I continue doing it.

All the best to you in achieving your goals 🙂
