One of the many reasons why I love blogging is that I get to meet people from all over the world and hear their stories and shared knowledge. I absolutely love it!

In keeping with it and getting to know my awesome readers a little more,Β  I thought I’d start a new blog series where on Mondays I’ll ask a question, share my response, and then you can share yours too. I’m excited to get started and hear from you.

Today’s Question: What are you grateful for?

My response: With all that’s going on in the world lately, I’m most grateful for my simple blessings such as clean water, food, shelter, and my loved ones.Β

How about you?

Thank you for reading.

  1. First, i would like to say that this is an amazing question and not something that is asked often enough.
What am i grateful for? The love and support of my wonderful family and friends; that have seen me through me some tough times. The unconditional love of my children; who i can not imagine my life without. And i have a job, that allows me and my family to have a roof over our heads, and food on the table. I am very grateful for everything that i have, because i know how lucky i am to have the life that i have. Sorry if this is more of an essay πŸ™‚

    1. Hey Jacynda, it’s so nice to meet you.
Yep, I don’t think we’re asked this question often enough.
As I was telling a fellow blogger earlier this morning, we can go on and on about the things we are grateful for—it just shows how blessed we are. I’m so happy you have a lot to be grateful for and thank you for sharing it πŸ™‚

  2. I’m grateful that, even though I’m in really bad health with my third op only last week meaning I’m confined to one room, my beautiful children are snuggled up to me telling me about their day. Even though I am not 100%, they are being so loving and grown up, even though they are only 8 and 10, they make me so proud. Also, my loving partner who has done practically every thing for me, including moving house! My step children who are showering me with gifts to lift my spirits.
I love all 5 and the home we all share very much.
I’m even grateful for my cat, parrot and puppy who were all sharing a punnet of grapes with me this morning making me giggle
    😊

    1. Oh wow.. it’s incredibly admirable of you to find so much to he grateful for even though you’re in such a testing situation. All the best with your health and continue seeing things the way you do πŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing your story.

  3. I’m grateful for the women who helped form my life – my mother who gave me birth and my daughters and granddaughters who are gifts of life.

  4. My health comes to mind, most take their health as an automatic but I don’t. I am enjoying reduced health now but not dialysis with my 2nd kidney transplant that was 30 years-old in July. I was hospitalized last weekend and I dread more surgery but I still hope for the call to get a new kidney.

    1. Oh no.. stay positive and grateful David, you’ll definitely attract great things into your life. I pray that you find a donor soon, keep well. As always, thanks for sharing your story πŸ™‚

  5. I am grateful that my husband has the flexibility to work from home and that I’m able to be a stay at home mom for their first few years. Even if it means a chaotic household at times!!

  6. Hey babe, this is an excellent question.
I am truly grateful for all the happiness in my life, I am grateful for the clarity and purpose that I have found, I am grateful for all the people that makes each day even more special, I am grateful to be living in a relatively good country, I am grateful for my health and lastly I am grateful for the mindset and my attitude towards life:).

  7. I’m thankful for fall!! And my friends, ans all the work you put into your blog to make it inspiring and enjoyable to read and Jesus’s love!! πŸ’œ Thank you also for this reminder. It’s important to stay grateful! πŸ˜‰

  8. I read this right after you posted it, but waited to comment, because I wanted to really think about my response. I agree with your simple blessings. I am very grateful for those as well. However, I don’t think I can narrow it down to one specific thing that I am most grateful for. I am just grateful for my life, in general. I have had the opportunity to live a life that many people dream of living. I am able to recognize that, although I know that my life could always be better, and I constantly strive for more. I was able to live my lifelong dream for 6 years, then left it behind to begin a journey toward a life that I love even more. I am now working toward that life. In addition to my personal goals, I hope someday to fall in love and get married. I would love to start a family. Never settle for your current happiness. Enjoy being happy, but always remember that you can become even happier if you keep moving forward.

    1. Thanks for sharing and I totally agree with you there Danny. We always have alot to be grateful for but that doesn’t mean we should “settle” right there. And yep, happiness is an ongoing journey πŸ™‚

  9. Little things… a phone call from one of my kids – just because they want to talk. The smile of my youngest when I walk in the door. Hearing her say, Daddy! A glance at my wife while she sleeps. Nothing matters more to me.
